The new Ce Noir perfume by Beyonce has been all over social media. We know the hype surrounding it, but does it smell good, is it as different as people say, and is it worth the price?…
So if you know anything about me or have been keeping up with my socials, you’ll know that I went to the Renaissance Tour in L.A. and Dallas! I was absolutely living, but one of the great things I was able to do was smell samples of the new Cé Noir perfume. I was instantly hooked and felt so happy I had put my preorder in for it. Now that I have it with me I can actually smell it for myself and get my honest thoughts out there.

Is it worth it?
If you want a full break down of my thoughts, please check out this YouTube video! I give my honest opinions and give as much detail as possible. For now I really want to get into the price of this perfume! This perfume will cost you $160 according to the website. That’s not including the shipping costs or additional fees and taxes. One of the perfumes I compared the Ce Noir too was the La Vie Est Belle perfume by Lancome. If you check the notes, both perfumes have a very similar scent profile. Where the Ce Noir perfume is a 1.7 oz. bottle, the La Vie Est Belle perfume is a 3.4 oz. bottle that costs $150.
Comparing the two of these perfumes, I would honestly say the Ce Noir perfume could be at a lower price. If you watch my video, you’ll know that this is not the most expensive perfume I’ve purchased. I’m not one to deny myself a splurge every now and then and when it comes to perfume $150 – $160 is definitely within range for perfumes. If you order a luxury perfume you could even get into the $200 – $500 range. Sometimes even more!

So what does it smell like?
Here are the fragrance notes for the perfume:
Top Notes – Clementine, Golden Honey
Heart Notes – Rose Absolute, Jasmine Sambac
Base Notes – Nambian Myrrh, Golden Amber
I personally prefer muskier or more vanilla scents. I’ve never been one to favor fruitier scents, so the honey and clementine stood out to me. Like a mentioned earlier, this perfume does remind me of the La Vie Est Belle, but it also surprisingly reminds me on Greenwich Village by Bond No. 9. With that said, I wouldn’t say the scent is unique. When it’s first out the bottle it is a tad bit overpowering, but as the day goes on the way it changes in surprising. It’s a good scent for sure and I will be wearing it regularly, but it doesn’t stand out among others I’ve worn.

I personally think it’s more suited for night time, but you could also wear it during the day time and it’s fine
